Why did a pain management doctor refuse to accept me as a patient?

I moved to Kansas from Arizona in March 1, 2011. When I lived in Arizona, I was on pain management for two years. It took the doctor's office up until just this month (June) to fax my medical records to the doctor here in Kansas. I have to pay cash right now, because I don't have medical insurance yet, and this was the only pain management doctor that accepted cash payments. I called them for an appointment, and the girl in the office said there was a note on my file that said the doctor here in Kansas won't accept me as a patient. I asked why?, and she said there was no reason given. I replied, "there has to be a reason", and she suggested I call the doctor in Arizona to ask why. The doctor in Arizona said there was no reason on their account why I wouldn't have been accepted. The doctor in Arizona has been refilling a prescription for Hydrocodone since I've been in Kansas, but I don't know if they will continue doing that, since I'm not even living there anymore. I thought that was pretty decent of them to do that anyway. So my main concern is, how am I going to find a pain management doctor? I need my pain medicine, I have several major problems in my spine, and leg pain caused from the nerves in my spine. I'm at a loss to know what to do now. I also live in a very small town, 50 miles from Wichita. I called all the pain management doctors in Wichita, and none of them will accept cash either. I'm not familiar with the laws in this state, but I think we made a mistake moving here.

I had to do this acknowledgment many times until I was able to think about something and then let it go. I am not trying to mitigate your situation. but since this is a life lesson for you (we all have them) you are going to have to find some way to let these past hurts go. Mars life lessons are always tough because we always feel that we need to act. Maybe not act appropriately, but we want action! And we want it now! Think about all the energy that it takes to dwell on past issues. I could suggest forgiveness but Mars rarely wants to travel down Forgiveness Road. Maybe this will help as Mars needs action. Take up a sport (tennis comes to mind, baseball too like a batting cage) and when you are hitting that ball pretend that it is the one that wronged you in your past. Beat the crap out of them! Good tips for winning a street fight quick and easy?

Well I have a black belt with 6 years of training and military combat experience on top of that. I can tell you that a full fight is going to go to the ground. Hitting first doesn't matter unless it's solid anyway. Protect your head at all costs. A body can take serious damage, but one good headshot and you're down and about to experience more pain. Basics of ground fighting will tell you to never let him get your back, because then you're done. Don't try any fancy leg/arm locks, as without extensive training, you won't have the strength or flexiblity to attain them. Go for the neck, it's the easiest place to attack...and continue to attack the sides of his head, or the back of the neck. You have to have the mindset that you're going to win, and that you're faster/stronger than the other guy. If neither of you have training, the mental part is what will win it. If possible try to take him to the ground by way of the legs at the beginning of the fight. Once you're dominating from the top, you can control what goes on. Also, bring a weapon for defense just in case...you don't have to use it, but be prepared to. A serious fight doesn't last more than a minute usually. So...don't wear yourself out with worthless attacks, use your energy only on well placed ones...and dominate quickly on the ground as his height could give advantage to him on the ground...K I think I'm done. I was sued but settled out of court but now i still owe what i was being sued for?

I was almost sued by my apartment complex for 7,000$ in back rent and there lawyer contacted via certified letter i contacted him back and said I don't owe this much because i have a letter stating i was living here rent free until a certain time due to it being section 8 this was ok. Shortly after the time where the letter says i need to start paying rent they sent me this letter saying i owed all the rent since i lived there. So i told the lawyer i'm willing to pay 3 months rent because that's all i owed really he then said he would talk to his client and see if that was ok. He called back said it was ok and we would settle out of court and he faxed me some letters saying i only owed 1800$ and it was to be paid by a certain time which hasn't passed yet. Now i'm getting letters in the mail from credit bureaus saying i owe 7100$ to this apartment, but we have an agreement i only owe 1800$.... What steps do i take now in getting this settled. I have old faxes and old 3 part carbonless forms which are totally faded. It used to be you could put a transparent colored plastic on top and then the copy would come out with legible writing. New puppy going to the bathroom while I sleep?

I got a new teacup poodle (already have one) about two weeks ago. Since our existing poodle sleeps with us, we decided to let the new one do the same ( a 2lb dog in a king bed is not noticeable) The other night we woke up to him going to the bathroom all over the bed so we got up, cleaned the bed and put him on the floor in his bed. Then the older poodle did the same thing, so we got up, cleaned the bed, and put him in his bed. After consistent whining all night long, we did not get one wink of sleep. Last night, we kept them on the floor in their beds for the night. This morning, there was pee and poop EVERYWHERE! It was like they did it out of anger. My Mother keeps her 2 poodles in a pack-n-play with their beds inside over night. I'm thinking that would be a good idea- resemble a kennel but be more comfortable so maybe they won't go to the bathroom inside there? I'm just feeling like this is not fair for the existing poodle because he had the royal treatment before. What do we do?? Help!

Everyday for my whole existence (17 years) my father has verbally abused my mother. Where to begin........My mother is honest to god the sweetest person I've ever had in my life. I have a disease that involves the pancreas (cystic fibrosis) and they said that when you have diahrea that means your food didn't get digested. So the bad part about what you explained is that it sounds like all you ate got digested. Just if you were to workout an extra 10 minutes a day for about 2-3 weeks you could loose all you gained plus loose as much as you usually would loose. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. WHY DID THE VET HAVE TO REMOVE HIS TESTICLES SHOULD SHE NOT HAVE KNOW HE WAS TOO OLD FOR THIS! HE WAS STILL FRESHLY GROOMED - I COULDNT BELIEVE HE WAS LIFELESS - WHY DIDNT THEY JUST TAKE OUT THE LUMPS N LET HIM LIVE A BIT MORE??? Yesterday I looked up traits of a psychopath and 15 of 17 applied to me, I was told by the majority of people answering that no I was not psychotic, crazy, insane, whatever like my friends call me and like I thought I was but I want to know what is wrong with me, that part was never answered. I feel like I am better than everyone else, like everyone should give me whatever I want and laws shouldn't apply to me. Like I can get away with anything, I am ALWAYS bored. I can almost never find something to do and when I can after maybe an hour tops it gets boring. I lie like my life depends on it, I feel I can never tell the truth even to my closest friends and family. I always try to manipulate people out of their thoughts and possessions to side with me which most of the time succeeds. I never feel remorse or guilt or negative in any way after I do something no matter what it is. I make a hobby of threatening people, I will actually spend hours sometimes thinking of ways to kill people, hide bodies, creating thorough plans for bank robberies, and things like that. I have never felt love in my life; my aunt died on my birthday and I sat there like nothing ever happened. I have never cared about my family aside to 2 or 3 cousins who I only feel are like my friends. I am extremely quick to anger, if anyone upsets me which since it happens all the time i'm guessing its easy to do, it makes me turn violent and start hitting them. I don't want to speak in depth about this but i've done more bad things in my past than your average criminal does in a lifetime. The parts i'm willing to say are stealing very small things from friends but it gets much more serious. I will admit my long term plans for life are a bit off the charts, I want to either dominate the world and kill everyone including myself or become a bank robber. I know for a fact that I am irresponsible because if a friend is at my house and my parents are leaving us alone for a while my mom will tell my friend where they are going and for how long ect. instead of me and at one point actually got my friend to answer the phone instead of me. I don't usually accept responsibility for things i've done but most of them are stupid reasons we got in trouble for, either way I blame other people for anything I do. I am also secretive, I have only ever trusted one person to tell them the truth about something personal (that I can remember at least). Well this past sunday my little sister had her birthday party, and since our birthdays are only 2 days apart she had her annoying little friends over and I had my boyfriend over, along with one of my guy friends I've practically known since I was born. Well my guy friend (A) brought along one of his friends I had never met before (B). I noticed that B had been staring at me all night while we were all talking on my couch, and he hardly talked the whole night. Anyways, later on we all went out to walmart to browse cell phones because my boyfriend wants a new one and my buddy A is freakishly smart when it comes to anything cellular. So it was getting pretty late and I wanted to leave so me and my boyfriend started to leave and while we were saying our goodbyes B said something smart to me, jokingly, to the affect of "oh why you losers leaving so soon?" And being my classy self I replied "bye A, **** you B" just joking around and B yelled across walmart "you wish". What he said didn't really anger me or anything, but I did a fearful side glance at my boyfriend who gets extremely irritated and jealous easily and he didn't really say anything, because it turns out he liked my guy friends and thought they were pretty cool. But honestly, guys, what if another guy said a remark like that to your girl, especially very loudly in a public place? How would you feel, and do you think its a tad bit innapropriate?

Is it normal for a female dog to become aggressive after being spayed?

I have just had my 6 month old female husky spayed and she has suddenly gone from being sweet and quite submissive to a bit of a hot-head. It's been almost 2 weeks since her operation and she isn't fully healed (although she is acting like it by running around all the time!), so I understand she may be feeling vulnerable. She never directs this anger toward me or my boyfriend, however has begun directing it at her brother (he has also been fixed so it's not down to him trying to have sex with her or anything). They had a fight today over absolutely nothing and I tried as hard as I could to separate them but she just kept launching at him every time I got her away. She eventually got mad with me trying to intervene and as she was trying to get at him, she bit my leg and it is now a bit bruised and swollen (before anyone says anything, I realise this was my own fault but it was getting out of hand. I had no choice!). Is it normal for them to behave like this when they have had this kind of operation? This really scared me and I had a bit of a panic attack afterwards because it has never took me so long to get them apart before. They usually stop as soon as I tell them to but this time they ignored me and just carried on. She has done this about 4 times since her operation, and every single time I have seen no clear reason for it (i.e. fighting for possession of food, toys etc). She just starts the fight and even when he is willing to back off, she won't stop and doesn't care if we are in the way.

For the past while now i've found myself OBSESSED with the columbine high school massacre and several other extremely violent activities and films. According to my friends I am extremely violent, and the only path I see for myself in the future is crime. I don't like talking to other people AT ALL. okay so this is going to be very long but please help me out if u have the time to read this? when i was 1 things were bad with my family mom says my dad was violent and evil n stuff and they divorced and my mom tried to take us away but in the end court ordered my dad custody of me my brother and sister who were 6 and 8 and i was 2 . well i kind of had a normal life id ontremember much but my step mom was mean slapped us in the face and cursed and stuff my dad wasnt really there from what ic an remember i remember he wuld buy me toys. when i got older he kind of became my hero idk why he wasnt around but he never hit me or cursed he bought me things and took me to cool places.and i always slacked off in school he never made me go and nevermade me do things. i had a suicide attempt at 16 and i dont even know why i did it i just dont want to exist ever since i wa sa little child i never wanted to exist. things got bad at 14 my step mom left and the house was moldy and discusting falling apart dishes broken furniture everywhere. i finally moved at 16 after suicide attempt dad bought a house in the ghetoo and the house was real small and kinda ghetoo but at least the carpet was new and it wasnt moldy. i liked it at first.well my dad decided he needed a new girlfriend. she smoked pot. my dad thought it was for medical purposes but she was heavy smoked it every day hotboxing her room and she even shared it with me i spent alot of my timegetting high and hating life hung out with bad friends and making out with boys letting them do whatever to me except sex because i dont know why but i have a very hard time looking at my vagina even at the doctors i cant let them touch it and open it it bothers me i just cant do it i cant even put a tamponn in i have to use pads my mom said my dad sexually abused me and thats why i am like this but i dontthink he culd do such a thing. hes never touched me down there that i can remember or even looked. its just he does lose controll sometimes and curse now and push me down but then again so can i can be very violent throw things and cuss so badly i have anger issues and the problem with me is i finally had a chance to move back with my mom i mean i do like it i have a room a bathroo i have that at my dads house too but it doesnt feel like my home i ask if i can have food or use the bathroom like a guest. i have to volunteer at a school and im trying to get thru high school now im 17 and im trying to get my high school diploma but i have no credits at all but now im feeling so sick and tired of life i want to give up again i just dont have the will to try to live and do things i need to do. i just dont want to think or do anything but sleep all day and all night. i cant think right and i have been on depression medication for long time i just got off like a few months ago i dont want to go bak they only made me fat and moremiserable. ive gone as far as not eating for days and eatting alot becuz i got so desperate and not eating and now im back there imt rying to lose weight but i just cant eat im so upset and i dont know why im always angry i dont want to exist and i dont want to do anything

My girlfriends brother was throwing rocks at her dog (animal abuse) and she told him to stop. Well this angered him so he threw a rock at her and hit her in the leg with it. She threw a rock and hit him in he head. and he chased after her and hit her (domestic violence). After she tried a second time to get away from him, he threw rocks at her (projecting a deadly missile i believe). Also, this happened while he was on probation his second time, one of the charges being for domestic violence (violation of probation). she showed the officer the marks on her, and the officer shrugged it off like it was nothing. The officer also told her it was a family problem and it just needed to be settled by her mom, and that if she would arrest anyone it would be my girlfriend. He has threatened to kill her and my family and me as well as their mom before numerous times. Her mom only cares about her son, and tries her hardest to stop the daughter from calling the police or if she already did, she will try her very best to get all charges directed at her daughter. So im assuming domenstic violence is legal in pasco county, FL now, and i am considering beating everyone that is related to me, that i am in a relationship with, that currently lives in my household and anything else pertaining to domestic violence. Disregarding my last remark, what can be done about this?

I live with My Grandmother and She yells and swears all the time at Me when I mess up. Can someone help Me?

She is Bipolar, and has a Colon disorder thing, and I feel bad because She can't eat like She used to. I have a problem with Wheat, but She let's Me eat Wheat a lot anyway sometimes. I have ADD, And I am on two Medications. Ritalin, and Zoloft. I hate taking pills because I am scared I'm going to choke on one. My Grandmother gets mad when I hide My pills instead of taking them, and She yells at Me, and She curses and calles Me bad words. I don't want to yell at Her, and I know I never should. She does voices of My dolls, and does YouTube videos with Me. She likes gore stuff, and She now thinks SiFi is stupid because it's not scary much anymore. (I agree! No offence to SiFi lovers.) Extremely angry/rage dreams?

I have had about 5 dreams in the past month where I am extremely angry to the point of rage in my dreams. Then i wake up suddenly in real life and still feel that anger for a couple of seconds until I realize it was a dream, and also breathing extremely heavily. I was under a lot of stress that month. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Is this normal? And should I be concerned?

Homophobic house sitter?

So I have an extremely homophobic house sitter who always makes snide and very offensive comments towards the GLBTQ community (whenever it is mentioned), which extremely angers me. Ok so I got approved for a car loan. But my bank needed additional paperwork before they would fax approval certification. I found a car I wanted at the dealership and told them this but the bank was closed. The car I wanted was 1500 more then the loan I was approved for so I paid that out of pocket... now as im waiting till monday to go in and finish this. I began thinking... is my bank going to want a down payment on their loan as well? Cause if so im screwed. I already put all the money I had down at the dealership... or will the bank see that 1500 as their down payment? They never said anything to me about being required to put a certain ammount down? I can't deal with my dad, help?

I don't know why but for a long while now I just don't feel like leaving my room because leaving my room means dealing with my dad. It's not that I hate him, I like to think I don't hate anyone but honestly he is unbearable. When I had my friends over every single time he would unlock my door and just pry himself into my room and start talking to my friends. A lot of you must be thinking "oh that's nothing" but I don't even talk to my dad and the reason he came into my room was because people were there and he likes attention and talking to my friends but they aren't there for him. He is embarrassing and doesn't leave me alone. I tell him to leave my room and he tells me to shutup? Really? I've been nothing but a good girl for 17 years. I've never done drugs, smoked, had sex, nothing. I never really hung out with my friends because he is way too strict, I feel like I'm in prison and I feel so depressed because of it. I remember I was going to have a sleepover with my friend in elementry school and I'd been friends with her for over a year and we were the best of friends. My dad was like if you sleep over her house I'm calling the police.......Really.................Also another thing is during the school year I would hang out with my friends after school for a bit and he would tell me you can't go to their house. I'm freaking 17 years old, there's kids who have sex, do drugs, smoke, drink alcohol, get tattoos, get piercings, dye their hair weird colors, and I can't hang out with my friends........? I've never done anything to betray his trust and you know I'm starting to think I should do whatever the hell I want because I trust and know myself as a person and he doesn't. Don't tell me his intentions are good because you don't know my dad. All he cares about is money and if I'm doing good in school and that's it. He is a raging alcoholic in denial and verbally abusive to everyone especially my mom. He used to beat me and my brothers as kids with belts. He's the only person whose ever been so disrespectful to me in my life other than my brothers but they take after him. I just can't even talk to him, have a normal conversation, he just doesn't know how to act or be a dad. I don't hate him of course not but I just can't bear this situation right now. He makes me depressed. When I was focused on School and I had to sleep early he would argue with my mother late at night very loudly while he was drunk and it angered me because I wouldn't be able to sleep on time thus resulting in me being late to school the next morning.
