Will my next paycheck be direct deposited if my first one will be on a pay card?

I was planning on having my paycheck put in my bank account but I was supposed to have the direct deposit form faxed in friday but I couldnt so I did it today. while I was at work the lady called and told me that I didnt do it in time and that it will be on a pay card and to pick it up.
