Should I take my landlord to court?

Heres the story, my lease started on June first, and I show up on the first with a house that is littered with trash, cat litter and a kitchen with food all over the place along with damaged walls, doors and no keys left for the locks. It took him until the 5th to get someone to start fixing the damages and the trash wasn't cleaned until the 6th. And to top it all off, the landlord never sent in the fax to the gas company to get my ho water and stove running, and now tonight because the doors can't be locked because of the lack of keys, my brand new tv was stolen. What the hell do I do!?! Please help!
